Welcome to Brigadoon
Brigadoon is a 2,800 square foot, custom-built, comfortable mountain home with sophisticated, contemporary elements. Highlights of the finished lower level include a bonus room with a queen bed, a TV, a full closet, a full bathroom with a shower, an enclosed laundry room, a pool table, an entertainment area with a TV, and a walkout deck with Hot tub! New mattresses, TVs, furniture, carpet, and window treatments were added throughout the home as well.
The home has exposed timbers in the main living area and an open floor plan. The large dining area offers comfortable seating for 8-10 people at the main dining table with an additional game table and 4 chairs available that can be used for extra dining. Set on a double lot, Brigadoon has large wraparound decks with a propane gas grill, a picnic table, and a swing overlooking a spacious backyard and mountain views beyond. The flat backyard has a large bonfire-style fire pit and is great for children. There is a long-distance, mountain view that is visible from the living area, the kitchen, and the back deck.

The home is located between Boone and Banner Elk and is close to major attractions in the area. Hawks Nest Zip Line and Snow Tubing are less than a mile away. The house is just a short drive from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain, trout fishing, hiking, and more.
Important Information
- This home is permitted as a 3 bedroom and sleeps 10 in beds, but also has two alcove beds with foam mattresses for children near the dining area that are slightly smaller than twin beds. The beds have curtains that can be closed for privacy. 10 people are reasonably accommodated and permitted when utilizing these sleeping spaces. If you plan to use the alcove beds, please bring your own sets of twin sheets.
