Aloha Cottage

Aloha Cottage is a quiet and serene environment for readers, writers, artists, singles, couples, and small families. This cottage, overlooking the greenery of South Alder Court, is perfect for rest, relaxation, and reflection. Every aspect of decoration thoughtfully mirrors the coastal treasures found in the North Pacific Beach community. A small library includes Northwest writers. Throughout the cottage, Northwest artists such as Mary Randlett, Dana Squires, Andy Iverson, Jessie Watson, Max Grover, and John Hannukaine are featured. Artist materials are available if one is inspired. Aloha Cottage is also perfect for playful weekend/weekday romps through the old growth forests, rocky creeks, and a big beautiful beach. After defying the wild coastal winds, a warm wood stove provides recuperation. Local restaurants serve up fine and traditional cuisine. A local coffee/espresso shop overlooking the white capped waves is within walking and pedaling distance. For cooking enthusiasts who never get the time to cook at home, the cottage offers a gourmet kitchen complete with a rice cooker, food processor/blender, griddle, and copper bottom pans. Long stemmed glassware and a variety of dishware will highlight these cooking creations. A state of the art entertainment system is provided for vacationers who want to kick-back and look onto a Sony HDTV with cable and BlueRay DVD player. A multiple CD player and an iPod docket are also incorporated within the system. A second television is available in the primary bedroom. High speed wireless internet is present throughout the cottage. Aloha Cottage is about comfort. The queen size bed is firm and simply serene. The twin trundle beds are also firm and can be used for reading or meditation. Two complete baths and three closets add comfortable conveniences. The front porch has a bistro dining set perfect for morning French press coffee. The front porch also overlooks a community courtyard with a fireplace, picnic table, charcoal grill, and bocce ball court.
