This dove-gray cottage with its petite front porch and quaint wrought iron railings is located in a charming, walkable residential neighborhood just east of Downtown Colorado Springs. With a dedicated driveway, you’ll always have a place to park. An endearing, curved flagstone path leads you from your vehicle to the front door.
Inside, you’ll find a beautifully updated space with thoughtful design details which still retains its vintage appeal.
As you step through the front door, you’ll find yourself in a bright, airy, rectangular room with a sitting area to the right, and a dining area to the left. Lots of windows throughout the home give every room a happy, sunny vibe.
The sitting area is bathed in daylight through a set of French doors that open to a privately fenced side patio with a grill and seating for four. Perfect for casual meals “al fresco!” The sitting area includes an inviting plush sofa and a wall-mounted flat screen TV for unwinding after long, satisfying afternoons exploring the Rockies.
The dining area features a round table surrounded by four happy-go-lucky, vintage style turquoise chairs, all tucked into a sunny corner with windows on two walls.
A wide, open archway leads from the dining area to a kitchen that’s impossible to dislike! Right away you’ll notice the whimsical, decorative floor tile and a combination of exposed brick and white subway tile walls. This is a clean and cozy-feeling space, with white contemporary cabinets, white marble countertops, and a heart-winning farmhouse sink with a gooseneck faucet. You’ll find everything you need for easy meal prep, including a suite of stainless-steel appliances: large refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher. You’ll also appreciate the addition of cooking utensils, a toaster, a coffee maker and espresso machine.
Just off of the kitchen, you’ll find a laundry room with a high-end, stacked washer and dryer.
The bedroom, in a word, is adorable. You’ll fall in love with the full-sized bed with its ornate, Victorian-style iron headboard and footboard. There’s also a large closet here, and if you’re working during your stay, you’ll appreciate the dedicated work space off to the side, where a vintage-style desk and chair are surrounded by old-time beadboard wall panels.
The star of the tasteful bath is its spacious shower stall, where show-stopping geometric tile is visible through a gleaming glass wall.

We will send you detailed instructions no less than 48 hours prior to your arrival after you complete our verification portal. You will have privacy and access to the entire house using your special code given upon booking. Front door has a digital smart lock.
We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We’re happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you’d like to use public transportation.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city’s area.
-The TV’s offer streaming services only for guest’s to use their subscriptions. Just don’t forget to log out!
Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:
- NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
- We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
- Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.
- We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early.

-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.
Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver:
- Instead of charging a security deposit, we charge a non-refundable damage waiver fee (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees) that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they may be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.
Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL.
