But, in fact, there isn’t just one sea – there’s two – the Adriatic and the Ionian. Trullo Bernardo’s position means both sections of Puglia’s coastline are within reach. Beaches on the Ionian side can be reached by a 30-minute drive from the villa, while the beaches on the Adratic side are a 50-minute drive away.  The coastal city of Taranto (30-minute drive) is a must visit.
