Hytte Riverview exudes a luxurious space surrounded by breathtaking
natural beauty. Situated in Rooi Els which is located beside the
Kogelberg Bioshpere Reserve, and is itself a conservancy, in the
Western Cape. You’ll discover the unmatched beauty of mountain views,
nearby rivers, beautiful beaches right on your doorstep and the endemic
fynbos that can’t be find anywhere else in the world.
Klein-Hangklip Mountain is framed by large picture windows in all rooms
and the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen consists of rustic, wooden
finishes and includes a Nespresso machine as well as a washing machine
for your convenience. The open plan living area boasts large glass
windows providing panoramic views and allows for an abundance of
natural light to fill the space. The cozy lounge area is fitted with a
flat screen TV for some much needed down time and the intimate dining
area comfortably seats 6 people where you may enjoy your favourite
meals with views of the river and mountains. Through glass sliding
doors, you will have access to one of the absolutely gorgeous wooden
decks with outdoor furniture and your own private swimming pool; you
can sit out here for hours getting lost in the majestic surroundings. A
hammock can be found connected to the pool and deck, where one may
lounge in and take in the unforgettable river and mountain views. The
second deck offers views of the mountain and consists of a fire pit for
all to gather around and speak of memories.
The sizeable and very inviting bedrooms are guaranteed to provide a
peaceful night’s sleep with both bedrooms featuring a queen size bed,
airconditioning and heated towel rails. The main bedroom also has a
built-in bath which overlooks the ocean and the surrounding nature and
the second bedroom includes a TV. There are two immaculate bathrooms
for guests to make use of; both include a shower, toilet and basin. All
linen and towels will be provided with your stay.
If you feel like venturing out, there are several nearby outdoor
activities to enjoy such as hiking, cycling, canoeing, diving and bird
watching. The gorgeous cabin is located on a private plot of 1800
square metres, with a private Fynbos garden leading to the river. The
area is known for the Verreaux Eagles as well as baboons, small
antelopes, otters and occasionally leopards, with some patience you
will be lucky to spot a few of these animals. A stay at this
magnificent property will most definitely be a memorable experience and
leave you wanting to return time and time again.
Please note that baboons frequently visit and precautions have to be
taken with a cabin close to nature.
