The Gerroa beaches and the famous Blue Swimmer cafe are within walking distance of the house.
Why choose The Lookout?
The Lookout is a large and very spacious home, with generous outdoor areas and a big garden to match. It is perfect for a group of up to ten, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax. Dual living areas and multiple decks also help to spread out your party, or allow the kids to hang out away from the adults!
How is the property laid out?
The Lookout is split over multiple levels, as follows:
Street level - with views everywhere as you approach! Please note the driveway gradient is steep. The house can be entered either via the garage, or via a pathway that leads from the street to the front door on the main living area of the house.
Main living area - this level has lovely windows that take in the views and give plenty of natural light. You will find the master queen bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, with bathtub and shower, a lounge area, the dining table and the kitchen that includes a coffee machine compatible with Nespresso pods. There is also an outdoor deck with a table and gas BBQ.
Mid level - this level has two semi-partitioned bedrooms, with a king single in each and two king single trundles underneath them both. There is also a shared bathroom with bath tub and shower, another good sized living area, and an internal laundry. A second deck adjoins the one bedroom and the living area.
Bottom level - the bottom level of the house has a third living area with tv, pool table, one king bedroom and the fourth bedroom with two single beds. Both bedrooms on this level share a third bathroom with bath tub and shower. There is a third outdoor deck as well, and the garden with large lawn area and outdoor shower can also be accessed from this level.
What about outdoors?
The Lookout has plenty of outdoor options! There are numerous decks for outdoor entertaining, a paved terrace areas in the garden, and a very large lawn area for the kids. The trees and shrubbery are such that the house is very private from the road, and also to most side neighbours. There are also large areas under the levels of the house that the kids will inevitably discover for hide and seek and other games!
Staying warm or keeping cool?
The Lookout has a combination of split system air conditioning units in the living areas of the house, ceiling fans to most bedrooms, ceiling fans in some living area, gas heaters in the main living area - giving various options to stay cool or warm! The house can also be opened up to catch any available sea breeze in summer! The fireplace in the lounge room is decorative only.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Sheets, pillows, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
The double lock up garage has parking for two vehicles. One or two additional vehicles can be parked on the driveway, but the gradient of the driveway from the street into the garage is very steep. Vehicles should be parked with caution therefore. A better option is two vehicles in the garage and one parked diagonally across the crest of the driveway.
