The name Villa Bianca Levante was inspired by the legend of Queen Bianca of Navarre who was held captive, and subsequently escaped from Donnafugata Castle, which can be seen from the villa - the name Donnafugata means ‘fugitive woman.’ Just a few kilometres by car from Villa Bianca Levante, you will find Ragusa Ibla, Noto, Modica, Scicli, the sandy beaches of Punta Secca, and the wonderful fishing village of Marzamemi with its Tonnara.
