Where will I be?
Peninsula 180 is located on the Gerroa Headland behind Black Head Reserve. Access the reserve through the gate in the backyard, and follow the reserve down to Shelley Beach and the Gerroa rock platform. A great spot for paddling and exploring! Swim and surf at the famous Seven Mile Beach only a short drive or 10minute walk away.
Why choose Peninsula 180?
This newly renovated and highly modernized two story home is all about relaxation. Sit on the top floor balconies, both front and back of the home, to enjoy sunrise, sunset and wonderful water views. Downstairs the kids can amuse themselves having a game of table tennis or playing in the large grassed back garden.
How is the property laid out?
Peninsula 180 is a modern two storey, four bedroom house. Upstairs there is one king bedroom with a built in wardrobe, two twin bedrooms that have two single beds that can be made into king beds and one bathroom with shower, bath, vanity and toilet.
Also on this level is the living/dining area, which opens out onto balconies both north and south facing, it has sofas and easy chairs, a wall mounted TV, a DVD player and an ipod dock. The dining space seats eight and the kitchen is all electric and well-equipped. There is a Nespresso pod coffee machine.
Downstairs is a king bedroom and ensuite bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet. Also on this level is the second living area and games room/laundry with a TV, sofa, washing machine/dryer and table tennis table.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV - will I have it?
Sorry, this property does not provide WiFi. Please make alternative arrangements, or plan to switch off and fully relax during your stay!
What about outdoors?
On the front balcony there is a small round table and two chairs, so you can sit, enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The back deck is north facing, has wonderful sunrises, and there is an al fresco dining table with chairs for eight, plus gas BBQ.
A lawned back garden gives the kids room to play, and if you need more space, then just pop out the back gate onto the Blackhead Point Reserve (with a dog off leash area)which leads down to Shelley Beach. There is also an outdoor shower so you can wash off sand after a wonderful day at the beach!
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Peninsula 180 has electric and wall mounted heaters for winter warmth. The property can be opened up to take in cool ocean breezes for summer.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is off street, open air parking for two cars on the driveway.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Peninsula 180 is a pet friendly property, subject to the following rules:
- Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
- Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms
- The yard is fully fenced
- Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
