Our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home was custom-built in 2023 and features high-end interior finishes and furnishings that you would expect in a luxurious mountain retreat. No details were spared in the construction of this home, making for a one-of-a-kind guest experience.
Enjoy the convenience of being near Purgatory Ski Resort (with access to a free on-demand shuttle) and just 30 minutes to historic downtown Durango, yet have the privacy and additional space of a home with a 2 car garage (with space for two additional vehicles in the driveway). The residence is adjacent to over a million acres of national forest land and the Purgatory Flats Trailhead (one of the finest hiking trails in the area) and overlooks Twilight Lake which offers paddle board and canoe rentals in summer/fall along with a walking trail around the lake. There is a deck off the front of the home with amazing views of Twilight Lake, Purgatory Ski Resort and Engineer Mountain with an additional deck off the back off the home with couches, gas fire pit, dining table and BBQ grill and more views.
The residence includes all of the expected amenities in a vacation rental including fantastic outdoor space with seating, gas fire pit, BBQ grill and awesome views. Inside, super fast Starlink WIFI, Smart TVs on both Living Space (with live TV thru Panasonic) Washer/Dryer and high end furnishing and linens. There is also a bonus room with a twin bed off the Main Living Space and a 2nd living space on the 3rd floor.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
