Casa Tortuga is a contemporary three-bedroom townhome located in the vibrant community of Surfside on the southern side of Potrero. This two-story home can accommodate up to eight guests and features a beautifully landscaped outdoor space with a private pool and a bright, inviting living and dining space with a serene seaside color palette and design.
The heart of the condo is an open-concept living room, dining space, and kitchen with high ceilings and brand-new furniture. The living room showcases a plush seafoam-green sectional, a flat-screen TV, and coastal artwork and decor that give the space a laid-back “beachy” feel.
The elegant kitchen features high-end granite countertops, beautiful wood cabinets and drawers, and brand-new stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, oven, stovetop, and microwave. The kitchen also features a stainless steel farmhouse sink on the island and a breakfast bar for three guests. The high-top dining table is situated between the living room and kitchen and can seat six guests.
The kitchen is next to a multi-panel sliding glass door that opens to a grassy backyard with a pristine swimming pool, a thatched balcony with an outdoor sectional, and plenty of places to lounge around, including four lounge chairs, four regular chairs, and a hammock. The outdoor space is surrounded by lush trees and is landscaped with palms to create a sense of serenity and privacy.
The master bedroom is located upstairs and features a queen-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom with brand-new amenities and fixtures, including a tiled walk-in shower, a relaxing soaking tub, and a double-sink vanity. The second and third bedrooms are located upstairs, and each has a bunk bed with a plush double and single mattress. Each upstairs room features a walk-out furnished balcony that overlooks the yard, and both rooms share a sleek bathroom with a walk-in shower. Each bedroom shares the same laid-back coastal design as the living room, with beach-themed comforters, throw pillows, and artwork.
This property has a gated entrance, a carport, a powder room, a laundry room, and an outdoor shower to wash off sand from the beach. The home is equipped with internet access and air conditioning, and it is only a ten-minute walk from Playa Potrero.
Pet-friendly policy
We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Property Manager is committed to protecting our properties and complying with short-term rental regulations, which is why all guests are required to complete an independent verification with our trusted partner, TRUVI, before check-in. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
