Welcome to a taste of Montana right here in the Oldest City! This modern home is situated in historic Lincolnville. Step inside and you’re immediately taken aback by the openness of the home with its high ceilings and unique garage-style back wall. The loft provides additional high windows bathing the home in peaceful, natural light. The Montana-inspired decor includes antique skis, snowshoes, and sleds with runners. Sprinkled throughout the home, they add a bit of whimsy and fun.
The kitchen is modern and spacious with the washer/dryer behind a barn-door adjacent to it. Lots of counter space to work and plenty of pots and pans to use. There are two microwaves – one in a closet to the left of the fridge and another in the master bedroom closet along with a mini-fridge. There is bar seating on the other side of the kitchen island and the dining room table is right next to it. There’s also a small bar behind the dining table with plenty of wine and liquor glasses. In the kitchen is also a small breakfast table where you can bask in the morning sun and enjoy either drip coffee or coffee made with the Nespresso machine!
The ensuite master bedroom is downstairs and the room itself is dark because of where it’s situated.
Head up the circular staircase to the loft where you’ll find an ensuite guest bedroom with books and a large screen TV. Just outside is a second guest room with a small twin bed nestled in the window-seat.
Incredible wood cutout art pieces can be found throughout the home and bring another sense of the Old West to this unique house.
While this home doesn’t have any true closets, there is plenty of storage space for your clothes. Everything from dressers to drawers under the bed can be found. For those who want to hit the beach, there are two beach towels available for you to take with you.
In the main living area is an 80” TV with a DVD player, sound system, and lots of CDs you can enjoy. A comfortable L-shaped couch allows plenty of seating for everyone.
At the front door, there’s a wooden porch with a small table and chairs for morning coffee and a Danish. Another porch at the back of the house provides comfortable wooden chairs and all around you are the beautiful native plants of Florida.
Come enjoy a bit of the Old West while you explore the Nation’s Oldest City. Come spend some time at Whitefish Lodge. It’s a vacation you won’t soon forget!

About the area
St. Augustine, Florida is a remarkable city that presents a distinctive mix of history, culture, and natural beauty. As the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement in the continental United States, it's rich in history that can be discovered through its well-preserved colonial district and numerous museums. The Castillo de San Marcos, a 17th-century Spanish stone fortress with views of the St. Augustine Inlet, stands as one of the city's most iconic landmarks.
The city's historic district is a joy to explore with its narrow lanes, overhanging balconies, and old brick buildings. Here you'll discover attractions like the Lightner Museum housed in an 1887 Spanish Renaissance Revival style building and Flagler College, celebrated for its stunning architecture.
For those intrigued by religious history, the Mission Nombre de Dios traces back to the founding of St. Augustine and features a beautiful chapel shrine and a towering cross marking its significance.
St. Augustine also showcases beautiful natural attractions. Anastasia State Park offers pristine beaches and abundant wildlife while St. Augustine Alligator Farm provides an intimate encounter with American alligators specifically along with other reptiles.
The city's culinary scene is equally impressive with an array of seafood restaurants offering fresh catches from Florida waters as well as international cuisine reflecting the city's diverse cultural influences.
For shopping enthusiasts, St. George Street offers unique boutiques selling everything from handmade jewelry to local art while outlet malls provide great deals on brand-name merchandise.
In addition to its colonial charm, St. Augustine also boasts beautiful Victorian architecture among other later eras represented throughout the city.
In essence, St. Augustine delivers an enriching travel experience that combines historical exploration with beach relaxation along with cultural immersion through food and shopping experiences making it worthwhile for any traveler.
