Chalet Lula is an Property Manager property. The Property Manager team’s opinion - Chalet Lula is a contemporary, semi-detached chalet for 8, with spacious accommodations set over three floors. With four bedrooms, each with their own bath or shower room, it’s a great choice for a group of friends or two families. Three of the rooms can be arranged with kingsize or twin beds, for flexible sleeping arrangements. Two of the bedrooms also have doors to the balcony. We love the top-floor living area, which is so full of light and enjoys great views. Whatever season you visit, you’ll love relaxing on the balcony, perhaps with a drink before dinner or even enjoying a barbecue together. Although the living area is open-plan, the different areas are clearly defined - the comfortable seating area, the dining area with doors to the balcony and the sleek, modern kitchen with a cooking island and breakfast bar, so that whoever is cooking is still part of the conversation. The ground floor has storage for outdoor clothes and a laundry cupboard with washer and dryer in the hall. There’s also a ski room next to the garage, a traditional sauna, a WC, and a TV and games room, complete with books, board games and an Xbox game console. Chalet Lula is just a short walk from the centre of the Portes du Soleil ski village of Châtel, with its lifts, shops, bars and restaurants. Outside the ski season, there’s plenty to do, with great walking and biking trails, watersports on the Dranse river and swimming in the Lac de Vonnes. Groups of up to 18 (16 Adults max) might like to consider booking Chalet Lula with Chalet Amarou, next door, which sleeps 6. It’s a great solution for families who want to ski and socialise together, but don’t necessarily want to spend all their time with each other! Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. SECURITY DEPOSIT We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage.
