Downtown Blowing Rock is just seven miles away and features local shops, restaurants, and a large public park. If you’re visiting in winter, Appalachian Ski Mountain provides skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating. Grandfather Mountain and Banner Elk are about a thirty-minute drive from 4 Pines. 4 Pines is a beautifully renovated mountain home that boasts three levels of entertaining space, in addition to a bonus crow’s nest. Upon entering, you’ll be welcomed by a bright, open floor plan with two sitting areas. Cozy up with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate by the gas fireplace after a day of skiing or ice skating. The family room offers a great space to gather with family and friends to share stories from your High Country adventures. The state-of-the-art kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, including double ovens and a gas range, ready for the chef in your group. Enjoy your meals at the dining table or at the kitchen peninsula. Just beyond the dining room, the sunroom is a perfect spot to relax with your morning coffee while watching your favorite TV shows. One of the two decks on the upper level can be accessed from the dining room, featuring an outdoor dining table, a gas grill, and a Big Green Egg. On the next floor down, you will find three bedrooms and a living room equipped with a big-screen TV and comfortable seating, where guests can enjoy their favorite movies. The expansive back deck spans the width of the home and includes Adirondack seating and a hammock, perfect for enjoying fresh mountain air. You can also engage in a friendly game of cornhole while taking in views of Grandfather Mountain. Guests of all ages will enjoy the entertainment options in the lower-level game room, which features a foosball table for family game nights, as well as a large sectional where you can watch the big game on the HDTV. A hidden gem of 4 Pines is the crow’s nest, accessible via a spiral staircase from the main level. This kids’ space features beautiful tongue-and-groove ceilings and a craft table for the little ones. 4 Pines offers five sleeping areas and four full bathrooms, two of which are ensuites. The spacious main-level master bedroom serves as a luxurious retreat, featuring a king bed, a large walk-in closet, and a private ensuite. The updated ensuite is a spa-like oasis, complete with a freestanding soaking tub, a level-entry shower, and double vanities. The back deck, accessible from the master bedroom, features a fire table and Adirondack seating, creating a cozy evening atmosphere. The middle level includes three additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. One suite is versatile and includes a king bed, twin-over-twin bunk beds, and a private ensuite. The second king bedroom shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with the twin bedroom, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for guests. The lower level has a new king bedroom. Additional amenities include WiFi, cable TV, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer and dryer. There is also an additional full bathroom and a wet bar located next to the lower-level game room. A solo stove fire pit is ready for your marshmallow roasting. Please note that pets are not allowed at 4 Pines. Access to the home is via a paved road and a pull-through driveway that accommodates parking for four vehicles. The covered parking area offers level entry, making loading and unloading easy. Be aware that there is a Ring doorbell camera at the front door.
