Just 10 minutes from Holt, 15 minutes from Sheringham, and a short drive to the stunning coast, it’s the ideal spot for family seaside trips. The cottage offers modern comforts, shared outdoor areas, and welcomes one well-behaved dog, making it a perfect dog friendly retreat.
Sandpipers Cottage has a cosy living room with a Smart TV, DVD player, CD player, and a woodburner for chilly nights. A selection of board games, books, and DVDs provide entertainment for all ages.
The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances like a washer/dryer, fridge, oven, electric hob, and both pod and filter coffee machines. It’s stocked with cookware and utensils, and the dining table seats four.
Sandpipers Cottage has two spacious bedrooms: a master with a comfortable double bed and a second room with twin beds, ideal for children or friends. Both rooms offer plenty of natural light and storage.
The family bathroom includes both a shower and a bath, with freshly laundered towels provided.
The patio has seating for two, with extra chairs available. The shared grassy area leads to a deck with a bench and firepit. Outdoor furniture, a BBQ, garden games, and camping chairs are also provided for your enjoyment.
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Sandpipers are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.
Private on-site parking is available for up to two vehicles.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Sandpipers per reservation.
Please note that the fireplace is electric.
Sandpipers is located within 20 minutes’ drive time to beautiful areas within Northumberland such as Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell. There are excellent travel links as the cottage is only a short distance from the A1.
The closest train station is Chathill, which is roughly a 20-minute drive from Sandpipers so local towns in Northumberland can easily be reached via rail.
There are a number of bus stops throughout Belford. Hop on the 418 service to explore Bamburgh, Beadnell, Alnwick and Alnmouth amongst others. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahorses.
Newcastle Airport is roughly one hour away by car.
