Introducing The Bear’s Cave! If you are looking for privacy, with mountain views and close to everything the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer, then look no further! This log home, with a picturesque creek, is located minutes from world class golf courses, snow skiing, hiking trails, waterfalls and the quaint towns of Maggie Valley and Waynesville. The open living space is perfectly laid out for guests to enjoy spending time together. Gather around the stone fireplace to create memories or watch a movie or the big game. You’ll flow right into the fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances, perfect for preparing your culinary favorites! With 3 lovely guest rooms to choose from and 2 pull out sofas, as well as 3 full bathrooms and 2 half baths, there will be plenty of room for up to 10 guests. The wrap around deck is sure to be your favorite space! Whether you’re enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening, you’ll find the peace and serenity out there. And don’t forget about the hot tub and the fire pit, both are key amenities available for you to relax and make memories!

- Sleeps in beds: 6 - Max Occupancy: 10
- Queen sleeper sofa and Full Sleeper sofa (sleeps 3-4)
- Property Manager provides linens for all beds; other occupancy will require guests providing their own linens
- There is not central Air Conditioning. We have one portable AC unit in the primary bedroom, fans are in other areas
- There is not central Heating. Heat is provided by gas wall units, gas fireplace and electric free standing units.
- Internet is extremely limited and for emergency use only. No streaming available.
- Cleaning fee: $280 Property Manager openly shares & clearly posts our Cleaning Fees in a manner of full disclosure, as we think this is the most honest and forthright approach with respect to our guests. Our Cleaning Fees are backed by our Clean Guarantee, which reflects the highest level of standards, pristine environments for our guests, and a level of clean that surpasses any other vacation homes; we literally guarantee it!
Quiet Policy: Please note that the home is located in a quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.
Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.
Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional documentation before confirmation.
Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party. Please inquire for details regarding payment, the cancellation policy, military discounts, and trip insurance.
Note: Reservations over 30 days are subject for review prior to acceptance. A separate rental agreement will be required for 90+ day stays.
Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including selfie/photo of government-issued ID matching the reservation name, and photo of payment method in the primary guest’s name. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
