The main living area is thoughtfully decorated with comfortable furnishings. Gather in the dining space or well equipped kitchen as you cook up your favorite meals. You have 2 guest rooms to choose from, the comfortable primary bedroom with ensuite is on the main level and upstairs is a loft bedroom with ensuite as well.There is no doubt that you will spend most of your time enjoying the outdoors, boasting two levels of covered deck and a screened-in portion, there is not a bad spot to take in the views of the mountains and the lake. You will also have direct lake access, just take the stairs that lead down to the floating dock. Bring your boat, kayaks and any other water toy you love! Home Truths: - Sleeps in beds: 4 - Max Occupancy: 6 ​​​​​​​- Inflatable kayaks are provided as well as a limited selection of life jackets and floats - Security camera outside front door and at dock - We do want to let you know that there is lake access year round. However, Lake Fontana is dropped significantly beginning the end of Sept through April. The lowering will take time and water will continue to be under the dock for a period of time, but all based on weather. When the dock is on dry land you can walk down to the water or head over to Princes’ Boat dock, just around the corner for lake/boating options in the winter! - Dock is accessed by a number of wooden stairs descending from the porch. Recently added lighting (floodlights from the house and lanterns along the stairs) eases navigation and can be accessed while ascending or descending. ​​​​​​​- Guests should expect a fireworks show on or around the weekend of July 4th, and other noise associated during boating holidays.There is plenty of water in the lake overall and great for fishing in the winter! Guests are welcome to keep the boat in front of the home tied up to the dock overnight and throughout their stay, or ’beached’ if the water levels are low in the winter time. In case the owner’s boat is being docked, there is another available spot (There is a ladder that can be folded up onto the deck which allows another boat to dock). - There is an air mattress with linens in the loft - Property Manager provides linens for all beds; other occupancy will require guests providing their own linens - Internet Speed: Download - 25Mbps Upload - 5Mbps - 2 night minimum throughout the year and a 3 night minimum is required for all holidays - Quiet Policy: Please note that the property is located in a very quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords. Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional documentation before confirmation. Pets: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby. Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates. Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including selfie/photo of government-issued ID matching the reservation name, and photo of payment method in the primary guest’s name.
