Euphoria on the Fjord
This waterfront home enjoys an idyllic location on the western banks of Hood Canal, tucked away at the base of mature evergreens with sunshine playing on the private shore. It’s a lovely spot for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, or simply soaking up the sun while taking in the panoramic view. Be sure to keep an eye out for any pretty sailboats and dolphins who may float by! There’s much to explore nearby as well, from Lake Cushman, Olympic National Forest, and Olympic National Park to Hoodsport itself with its quaint local shops and restaurants.
This home is a showcase of its surroundings, best admired outdoors on the gorgeous patios and rocky shoreline. Sip your morning coffee outside on the cushioned lounge chairs, light the gas grill for a lunchtime barbecue, and spend golden hour sipping wine in the sheltered seating space nestled near the water’s edge. Perhaps take the kayaks out for a scenic dusk adventure! In the evenings, set the outdoor table for dinner at sunset and gather around the gas firepit to share stories in the salty sea breeze.
The interior is every bit as beautiful and atmospheric thanks to lofty ceilings and a rear bank of windows framing Hood Canal and the mountain backdrop. The living room exudes comfort and charm, offering warm wood paneling, a smart TV for movie nights, and a wood-burning fireplace encased in stone. There’s also a lovely kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a waterfront dining space, and even a telescope to help you spot passing otters, osprey, and bald eagles. No matter your lounging choice, pure bliss is ensured every moment of your stay.
