What to See in Town: Marina Del Rey: Marina Cabo San Lucas is a modern facility strategically located at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula. Medano Beach: Medano Beach (The Dune Beach) encompasses several miles of safe swimming beach beginning at the east side of the harbor entrance to Villa del Palmar on the east end of the bay. Close to town, Playa El Médano (Medano Beach) is the main and most popular Cabo San Lucas Beach. Swimming and snorkeling should only be attempted on the Sea of Cortez side of Lover’s Beach. The Arch: The famous stone arch at Land’s End, Cabo San Lucas. El Arco, in particular, is now symbolically synonymous with Cabo San Lucas as White Cliffs with Dover or the Rock with Gibraltar. Located marina-side between Plaza Bonita Mall and Marina Fiesta Resort in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, the refined Puerto Paraiso Entertainment Plaza combines indoor shopping and entertainment with cascading waterfalls, restaurants, and open areas for strolling and relaxing. Nightlife: Cabo San Lucas has a well-earned reputation for rowdy, uninhibited nightlife, but the after-dark action in Los Cabos is by no means restricted to the bars, clubs, and cantinas that crowd downtown San Lucas.
