This fantastic wine country escape sits just two blocks from 1st Street and the heart of downtown Newberg. You are just steps away from some of the best food and wine tasting in the region. With countless restaurants and entertainment options nearby including the Chehalem Cultural Center with its park and playground practically across the street there is something for everyone.
Upon entering this 1911 craftsman you will find countless updates and upgrades throughout while still retaining that century old charm. Every bit of furnishing and décor is new and was curated to create that perfect blend of style and comfort for your stay. The main level consists of a warm and cozy living area that can be opened or closed off to the adjoining dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked for your culinary creations. Additionally there is a main level bedroom and up just four steps sits a renovated full bathroom.
Ascending upstairs there are three additional bedrooms, two with queen beds, and a larger spacious bedroom with a king bed. The second bathroom is en-suite to one of the upper bedrooms. Please do note that it has a tub with a handheld sprayer as well. A traditional shower was unable to be installed due to the shape of the room and celling. Please refer to the pictures and/or Matterport on the specific setup.
Towards the back of the home you can access the fantastic backyard. It has ample seating for everyone on the plush outdoor furniture. There is a BBQ for your grilling desires. When the trees, plants, and flowers are in bloom it is truly an exceptional place to relax and enjoy in. Chehalem Crest is a special home in the heart of Newberg and can be the perfect place for your to enjoy and explore all the Willamette Valley wine country has to offer. We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can’t control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don’t reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house.
