Chalet Penaso is a welcoming villa set in the peaceful Mallorcan countryside, just a short drive from Pollença’s historic old town and the beaches of Puerto de Pollença. With its stone façade, traditional tiled roof and well-kept garden, it’s an inviting base for relaxed holidays between nature and the sea.
Entering through the main door leads into the open-plan living-dining area, bright and airy with high ceilings, tiled floors and a comfortable lounge space to unwind at the end of the day. To the left is the kitchen, fully equipped and offering everything needed to cook comfortably during the stay, with a practical layout for easy breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
From the living area, a hallway leads to the sleeping quarters. On one side there is a double bedroom with a spacious wardrobe and, directly opposite, the second bedroom, also double, with twin beds, plenty of natural light and storage space. Between both bedrooms there is a contemporary full bathroom with two showers, ideal for added convenience.
The villa offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Both bedrooms and the living room have hot/cold air conditioning. In line with local energy-saving initiatives, the bedroom units are scheduled from 21:00 to 08:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00, and the living room unit from 13:00 to 15:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00. If desired, unlimited use can be arranged for an extra supplement. In July and August, for comfort, air conditioning is available at any time, day or night.
Outside, the private area is made for enjoying Mallorca’s climate, with a pool, space for sunbathing and open views towards the mountains and rolling hills. There is a covered terrace and outdoor dining areas, plus a barbecue and an outdoor cooking corner with a wood-fired oven and sink—perfect for long, easy meals together. A table tennis setup adds a fun touch for casual moments.
The location makes it easy to combine different plans: Pollença offers charming streets, squares and traditional restaurants, while Puerto de Pollença is ideal for beach days and seaside strolls along the Balearic Sea. For a different day out, Alcúdia stands out for its walled old town, its harbour atmosphere and a popular water park. Pollença’s Sunday market is worth visiting for its local feel and regional produce. A car is recommended for flexible exploring.

Pollença, nestled in the northern corner of Mallorca, Spain, is a charming town that offers a delightful blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. This picturesque destination is a treasure trove for travelers seeking a serene escape with a touch of the Mediterranean lifestyle.
The town's historic center is a labyrinth of narrow, winding streets that lead to the grand Plaça Major, the main square. Here, visitors can admire the imposing 13th-century church, Església de Nostra Senyora dels Àngels, and enjoy the bustling weekly market where local artisans and farmers showcase their products.
Pollença's Roman bridge, known as "Pont Romà," is a testament to the town's ancient past and is a popular spot for photographs. The Calvari steps, a set of 365 stone steps, offer a challenging climb rewarded with panoramic views of the town and the surrounding Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. At the top, the Oratory of Calvari is a peaceful sanctuary worth visiting.
For those interested in art and culture, the Museu de Pollença houses a collection of works by local and international artists, as well as artifacts that narrate the town's history. The town also hosts the prestigious Pollença Festival, which attracts music lovers with its classical concerts held in the atmospheric Santo Domingo cloister.
Nature enthusiasts will find Pollença an ideal base for exploring the Tramuntana range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hiking, cycling, and bird watching are popular activities in this region, with trails leading to stunning landscapes and hidden coves. The nearby Cap de Formentor offers dramatic cliffside views and the picturesque Formentor Beach, with its crystal-clear waters, is perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
Pollença's port, Port de Pollença, is a short drive away and is renowned for its beautiful beachfront promenade lined with cafes and restaurants. The port area also offers a range of water sports, including sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing.
The town's culinary scene reflects the rich agricultural heritage of the region, with local restaurants serving traditional Mallorcan dishes made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. From tapas bars to upscale dining, there's something to satisfy every palate.
