Payment & Cancellation - 90 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
- For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

- Hiking: What a wonderful way to take in the sheer beauty of your surroundings! Directions are available so you can find your way to the surrounding vineyards for an on-foot tasting experience.
- Picnic: An absolutely favourite way to spend a day here is to hike up the hill beyond the furthest-reaching vines and lavish in a spectacular picnic that will be set up for you by the staff.
- Helicopter Service: A helipad on the property provides the flexibility to get you wherever you’d like to go for a quick day trip. This efficient way to travel can not only whisk you from Lisbon or Porto in a matter of minutes, but can effectively deliver you to nearby golf courses, restaurants, hotels, shopping and more.
- River Boat: Douro means gold in Portuguese. Here, you have a golden opportunity to enjoy the river as well as the many wine houses and restaurants along this beautiful body of water. Enjoy a day – or even an overnight stay – on a charming river boat cruise.
