Renting a car is a must on the island, as most of the shops, museums, beaches and tourist places are scattered all over the island. Renting a scooter might be a suitable solution to drive in the area. Still, it is not ideal for exploring the island because of the steep hills and busy roads. Public transport can get you to the main points of the island, but be sure to find the bus’s schedule before you get on it!
