Trullo Titiro is a large complex of typical Trulli and Lamie that demonstrates the perfect balance between luxury, comfort and style. The property, with its long garden of olive, almond and fruit trees, is located in a quiet street, surrounded by a vineyard, and enjoys total tranquility and privacy. It is about 6 km from Ostuni and can comfortably accommodate 6 people.
The house has been lovingly restored and restored, preserving all the typical characteristics of a trullo.
An electric gate leads to the property, with a large private car park at the end of the illuminated driveway. The house has been lovingly restored and restored, preserving all the typical characteristics of a trullo. Entering through the main door you come to the dining room. Located in the main ’cone’ of the original trullo, the lights that reach up to the ceiling give it a truly magical atmosphere. To the right is a cozy lounge area nestled in the alcove, with a comfortable sofa and armchair. On the left, the beautiful custom-made kitchen, carefully designed to enhance the natural stone walls and niches, while being fully equipped for modern living.
From this main living area on the ground floor, a stone staircase leads to the “pièce de la resistance” of this property: the cellar. Carved into the rock under the trullo, here you will find a paradise for wine lovers. The custom-built winery boasts an impressive list of more than 27 labels, carefully selected by a sommelier from among the best vineyards in Puglia (as well as a handful of wines from outside Puglia). With a wine for every occasion, you will surely find something to your liking, experimenting with the best wines that Puglia has to offer. Inside the cellar there is an additional lounge area where you can sit and enjoy a glass, or even conduct your own tasting using the tasting notes provided. On request, Trulli & Dimore can organize a wine tasting with the sommelier.
Returning to the ground floor and passing through the living room, the bedrooms are all accessible through a long corridor at the back of the property. Here there is also an additional bathroom with a double laundry function and double doors that lead to the rear garden. The three bedrooms are large and bright, thanks to high stone ceilings and windows that allow abundant natural lighting. Each has generous private bathrooms with walk-in showers and queen-size beds with hybrid mattresses. In the central bedroom it is possible to create 2 single beds on request. One of the three bedrooms also houses a luxurious freestanding bathtub under a stone alcove. This room, together with the one at the other end of the corridor, has double doors that lead outside, giving both rooms private access to the front terrace. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and wooden shutters to ensure a comfortable and peaceful sleep.
At the back of the property is the main outdoor living area. Here is a large patio that houses a comfortable relaxation area with sofas, sheltered under a gazebo with a ceiling fan that helps keep you cool in the warmer months. The outdoor kitchen, with a large island and stools, is spacious enough for everyone to come together, whether it’s preparing a quick lunch with a gas stove or a grill on the asador grill (traditional Argentinian barbecue). There is also a large wood-burning oven for evenings when you prepare fresh pizza with the whole family. Under an adjoining gazebo is the outdoor dining area, with a large stone table and benches. Here you can have lunch or dinner looking at the pool, a strategic position to keep an eye on even the little ones in the water.
The pool has a platform at one end for paddling. Next to the pool are six sunbeds, each with a removable table.
Finally, crossing the lawn and passing through the stone arch, the illuminated path will lead you on a path along the olive grove. First there is an area dedicated to the fire pit, ideal for admiring the sunset on the adjacent vineyard, then, at the end of the path, you will find a shaded terrace for yoga (mats are provided) where you can move your body in the tranquility of the Apulian countryside. Private yoga lessons can be arranged upon request.
Just 10 minutes away is the nearest town, Ostuni, the famous “White City”, where there are large supermarkets and pharmacies, as well as numerous restaurants serving typical cuisine and a selection of shops. A short distance away are also the beaches of Costa Merlata, Monopoli, Castellana Grotte, Alberobello and others...

About the area
Carovigno, a charming town in the Puglia region of Italy, is a hidden gem that offers a serene escape into the heart of Italian culture and history. Known for its stunning whitewashed houses, ancient olive groves, and pristine coastline, Carovigno is a destination that promises an authentic Italian experience away from the hustle and bustle of the more frequented tourist spots.
The town is crowned by the impressive Castello Dentice di Frasso, a medieval castle that has been the sentinel of the area for centuries. Visitors can explore the castle's fortified walls and towers, which offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the Adriatic Sea. The castle also hosts cultural events and exhibitions, providing a glimpse into the region's rich heritage.
Carovigno's historical center, or "centro storico," is a labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys, where every corner reveals a picturesque scene. The town's architecture is a testament to its diverse past, with influences from the Normans, Swabians, and Aragonese. The Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the numerous small chapels dotted around the town are beautiful examples of religious architecture that visitors can admire.
The area around Carovigno is renowned for its olive oil production, and a visit to a local masseria (a traditional farmhouse) to learn about the process of making extra virgin olive oil is a must. Many masserie also offer cooking classes, where you can learn to prepare Pugliese specialties using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
For those looking to relax by the sea, the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve is a short drive from Carovigno. This protected area boasts a stretch of unspoiled coastline with crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. The reserve is also a haven for wildlife, offering opportunities for birdwatching and nature walks.
Carovigno's culinary scene is a delight for food enthusiasts. The town's restaurants serve up traditional dishes that highlight the flavors of the region, such as "orecchiette" pasta with turnip tops and fresh seafood from the Adriatic. The local "focaccia" and "taralli" are snack staples not to be missed.
With its blend of history, culture, natural beauty, and gastronomy, Carovigno provides a tranquil yet enriching Italian experience. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in the slow pace of life, savor the simple pleasures, and leave with a sense of having discovered one of Italy's best-kept secrets.
