Staying at the Shark Shack, everything from the Décor to the Fun Games will make feel like you’re Swimming with the Sharks. Located in a Quiet Wooded Neighborhood, this Beautiful Cottage is Kid-Friendly, has 3 Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms, Lots of Fresh Air Entertainment Areas, Large Yard (Bring your Favorite Yard Games) & Plenty of Parking.
As you enter you will appreciate the Lovely Coastal Décor in the Living Area. With Comfortable Seating, you can Stream your Favorite Shows & Movies on the Smart TV. Using the DVD player, Watch Provided Movies including, of course, “Jaws” but also Nicholas Sparks’ Movie Filmed in Southport, “Safe Haven”. Listen to Music from your Devices on the Bluetooth Speaker. The Large Coffee Table slides open to reveal Many Family-Friendly Games, Lots with a Shark Theme. You may even become a Card Shark! Of note are the Beach Combing Shell Identifier Pads. After a Fun Day Picking Up Shells, come back & Discover what your Special Finds are.
The Living Area flows into an Open Dining & Kitchen which overlooks the Screened Porch. The Kitchen is Stocked with all the Items you will need to make Memorable Meals. In addition, there are both K-cup & Drip Coffee Machines, a Mrs. Tea Machine & a Blender for those Frozen Vacation Beverages. A Crock Pot, Hand Mixer, Toaster & Air Fryer round out the Small Appliance Amenities in the Kitchen. There is a Charcoal Grill to make that Fresh Catch even Tastier. Choose to Dine Alfresco at 1 of the 2 Outdoor Dining Tables. There are Melamine Plates & a Selection of Glasses for both Kid-Friendly & Adult Beverages to use while Enjoying your Meals in the Fresh Air. The Screened Porch is a Comfortable Area to Relax with your Coffee in the Mornings or a Glass of Wine in the Evenings. It’s a Space to Relive the Fun of the Day or Discuss the Next Day’s Plans. There is a Booster Seat for the Smaller Diners.
There are 3 Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms. Bedroom #1, the Primary (California King), has Large Windows for Lots of Natural Light, a Smart TV & a Dresser/Closet for Unpacking. The EnSuite has a Combination Tub/Shower. The 2nd & 3rd Bedrooms each have a Comfortable Queen Bed & a Dresser & Closet. These 2 Bedrooms share a Hall Bath with a Tub/Shower. For the Younger Guests there is a Safety Bed Rail. After you have had your Fun in the Sun, Rinse Off the Sand & Salt in the Outdoor Shower (Hot & Cold). Drop off your Swimsuits & Towels in the Laundry Room with the Full-Sized Washer/Dryer so they are Ready for the Next Day.
When you head to the Beach, there are Lots of Items Provided to make it More Entertaining. Grab the Beach Cart to Stow the Sand Toys, Boogie Board, Chairs, Umbrellas & a Folding Beach Table. The Cart makes it Much Easier to get your Gear to & from the Beach. To Keep your Snacks & Lunch Fresh while you are there, Pack it in the Shark Shack Cooler Bag.
The Oak Island Lighthouse’s Beacon in the Front Yard will Beckon you Back, Time & Time Again because there was “Some-Fin” Special about the Shark Shack. You may even Rebook Before you Leave!
Pet Policy:
We’re happy to host dogs! Depending on the booking platform, the pet fee may not be included in your total and will be requested separately. A non-refundable $200 pet fee (up to 2 dogs, 80 lbs combined) is required and must be paid before check-in—access details will be sent once completed.
Maximum of 2 dogs. Unregistered pets will incur a $200 pet fee plus a $500 remediation fee.
Dogs must be up to date on vaccines and flea/tick prevention. No dogs on furniture or beds (additional cleaning fees may apply). Please bring a crate if needed; there is not one at the property.
