Historic and unique charm beautifully melds with modern style at Red Barn Retreat! Located on an expansive 3.5 acres, this thoughtfully converted, Century-Old Pole Barn is nestled among mature trees that include grapevines and apple trees and provides plenty of open space on the lawn. While exploring the immaculate grounds, pause to rest inside the screened-in gazebo overlooking the pond with a good book. Let relaxation wash over you as you indulge in yoga and meditation with everything you need to enjoy your practice: mats, blankets, and bolsters. An art easel, tucked into the corner of the yoga studio, provides a quiet and inspiring environment to tap into your inner artist. If you feel drawn to enjoy the outdoors, the studio deck offers ample space for either expression while soaking up the sun. The hardscape surrounding the studio can also accommodate group yoga, perfect for sunrise which sometimes reveals a Blue Ridge hue blanketing the property.
Upon entering the home, marvel at the rough-hewn wood walls, still delivering their original pine scent, and decor thoughtfully selected to breathe new life into the storied space. Filled with specially curated art throughout, the interior of the home is an art lover’s paradise! The main living area offers 3 separate living spaces and preserves two authentic stalls from the original Pole Barn, now serenely incorporated and repurposed. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, spacious closet, and en suite bathroom with two sinks and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom on the main floor has a queen-size bed. Two bathrooms on the main floor, one with two vanities and a bathtub with shower and one with a single vanity and a walk-in shower, provide plenty of space for your group. A traditional, open-air loft offers two twin-size beds and a queen-size bed.
Entertainment truly abounds at Red Barn Retreat! Spend those inevitably rainy afternoons around the living room fireplace while streaming your favorite movies or in the converted garage game room that offers ping pong, darts, Connect 4, and corn hole. During the warmer spring and summer months, take advantage of the fully fenced pool area that is home to 6 lounge chairs, a gas grill, and a screened-in porch with a year-round hot tub and sitting area. In the Fall, the leaf canopy offers its private show of changing colors, along with dancing fireflies.
Red Barn Retreat is within a 10-minute drive of charming downtown Weaverville where you’ll find delicious local dining, quaint shops, regional art, and multiple grocery stores for your convenience. For the golf lovers in your group, you’re just a 15-minute drive from the Reems Creek Golf Course and a 10-minute drive from the Reems Creek Nursery—a wonderland for any gardeners in your group. If you want to experience the "Paris of the South," Asheville, during your stay, you’re just a short 15-minute drive to the award-winning restaurants and breweries downtown and a 20-minute drive to the historic Biltmore Estate.
Take a 10-minute drive to reach the quiet mountain community of Barnardsville which is home to Navitat Canopy Adventures where you can glide along the treetops on a zipline or take in the grandeur of the Blue Ridge in a 4-passenger RTV. For hiking and biking, travel into the vast Pisgah National Forest nearby to explore stunning gorges, mountain peaks, and cascading waterfalls. Red Barn Retreat is also a 10-minute drive from The Barn at Paint Fork, a live music venue with a bar serving up draft beer, hard cider, wine, and more, two food trucks (Twisted Laurel and Hit the Pit BBQ), and axe-throwing.
