As the sunrise meets the lake in the morning, get out on the provided canoe or kayaks for a serene glide. Afternoons can be spent in the hammock, in the sauna, and around a board game. And in the evenings, the grill and firepit are paired perfectly for a sweet summer barbecue followed by s’mores.
If you’d like to explore the area more, check out the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, Billings Farm & Museum, and Woodstock Town Hall Theatre. Saskadena Six, one of North America’s oldest ski resorts, is only 11 miles away, while Killington, the largest ski resort in the eastern United States, is 25 miles from your vacation home and boasts the widest variety of terrain for skiers to tackle. For added fun, the Nordic Center at Woodstock is 12 miles away and offers 45km of groomed trails for skate and classic cross-country skiing.
