For those who have dreamt of staying in a cosy homestay, Ava - The Country House offers a dreamy stay in the uplands of Mysore. Wake up in the arms of nature to the aroma of sandalwood wafting throughout the place. Enjoy a peaceful morning walk on the dewy grass of the courtyard while you soak in the sunlight. Explore the joyous city of Mysore as the secluded yet convenient location, makes it perfect for exploring the city. After a day of exploring, head inside and jump in the cosy waters of the plunge pool while you watch kids run around in the grass. Indulge in savoury delights of Mysore on the dining area that cocoons one with its tiled roof. End your day by the cracking fire of the bonfire and enjoy the glimpse of the stars on the terrace. THE SPACE BEDROOM 1 Infusing warmth and elegance, the bedroom is decorated with rich wooden embellishments with a view of the courtyard and sofa chairs for four people. The bedroom is equipped with a king-sized bed, an AC, TV, fans, Wi-Fi, a spacious wardrobe and a sofa cum bed for extra guests. This room opens up to an attached bathroom equipped with a solar powered water heater, plush towels and basic toiletries. BEDROOM 2 Infusing warmth and elegance, the bedroom is decorated with rich wooden embellishments with a view of the greenery outside and has an easy chair. The bedroom is equipped with a king-sized bed, an AC, TV, fans, Wi-Fi, a spacious wardrobe and a sofa cum bed for extra guests. This room opens up to an attached bathroom equipped with a solar powered water heater, plush towels and basic toiletries. BATHROOMS There are a total of 3 bathrooms - 2 attached and 1 common. There is a shower area near the pool All bathrooms have solar powered water heaters, plush towels and luxurious toiletries. LIVING ROOM Under the tranquillity of the antique ceiling lies the living room with a glass door and windows that allow sunlight to fill the room. The living room can accommodate up to 10 people with its wooden diwan and sofa style seating arrangement. The living room is equipped with amenities such as fan, mosquito repellent, portable music system and WiFi. DINING AREA The dining room comes with a serene view of the courtyard with a pool, where one can enjoy curated culinary delights. The wooden dining table can accommodate 8 people comfortably. KITCHEN - Guests may use the kitchen for reheating purposes only. - It is equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, gas stove, refrigerator, water purifier, dishwasher, mixer-grinder, crockery and cutlery. - Reheating and consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. TERRACE The villa is crowned by a massive terrace that gives all around views of the estate and can seat up 8 people. COURTYARD As you enter the villa, a courtyard with a pool is located in the centre of the villa, where one can dip in the pool or walk on the dewy grass. PLUNGE POOL A shimmering plunge pool is located within the courtyard of the villa, which makes it perfect to enjoy nature and pooltime together. The 8-seater plunge pool is 4 ft in depth with timings from 8 AM to 10 PM. There is a shower area beside the pool. ​​​​​​​ADD-ON SERVICES - Breakfast is complimentary. - The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge. - A bonfire can be arranged and set up at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per session. - Guests can make use of the golf practice range at no extra charge. However, we can arrange a 45 minutes training session by a professional coach at an additional cost of Rs. 1500. - We can provide accommodation for extra guests at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per person, per night and Rs. 2000 per person, per night for kids and adults respectively.  - Amenities such as CCTV, fire extinguisher, hair dryer, bathtub, chef, indoor games, torches, iron and medical kits can be accessed by the guests at no extra charge. - Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates. It also lends its name to various art and food forms such as Mysore Dasara, Mysore Painting, Mysore Pak, Mysore Masala Dosa and more. The city receives many tourists from around the world during the Dasara festival. So, while you’re enjoying your royal stay at this property, here are a few activities we recommend doing to make your stay even more memorable. - Admire the grand Mysore Palace. - Visit Chamundeshwari Temple. - Take a walk in the Brindavan Gardens. - Check out the Mysore Zoo. Network is subject to availability at any given time. - Reheating and consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. - Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM. - Guests are advised not to step out after dark, as it may not be safe, given the presence of wild creatures around. - The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property. - This is a standalone property. - The property is in a secluded location. - Alcohol consumption is allowed in the villa. Please do not carry food/drinks in and around the pool. - Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only. - We urge you to wear swimming attire in the pool and kindly shower before entering. - Children should be supervised while they are in or around the pool. - Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care. POLICIES - The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed. - The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking. - Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa. - All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. - All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay. - Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement. - Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted. - Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted. - A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. - This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
