The mansion, built during the 1940s by a wealthy family from Milan, is surrounded by a 20,000 square-meter park with manicured lawns and pine woods, offering beautiful views of the lake and Borromean Gulf.

Alina is located 1 km uphill from the cozy village of Baveno, where you can find many restaurants, bars, and alimentary shops. The villa is also close to Stresa (5 km) and less than 60 km from the International Airport of Milano Malpensa, easily reachable in about one hour by highway or train from Milano Centrale station.

Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
  • For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

  • DAMAGE DEPOSIT €2,000 to be paid before the arrival day TO THE VILLA'S BANK ACCOUNT. NO OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED, INCLUDING HOLDING ONTO THE CLIENT'S CREDIT CARD BY THE AGENCY. The SUM will be fully REFUNDED within a maximum of 2 DAYS from departure, if everything is okay.
  • TOURIST TAX € 3,50 per pax per night (child from 7 years) to pay cash by arrival day
  • HEATING extra cost by consumption - to pay cash by departure day
  • • Cooking service or any external service must be paid in cash by the departure day and must be arranged only through trusted personnel provided by Villa Alina’s owner. Please send us the customer's requests in advance to better organize the required services.
  • • NO EXTERNAL PROVIDER CAN ACCESS THE PROPERTY WITHOUT THE OWNER'S APPROVAL. Kindly advise the customer and inform the agency if needed.
  • • Upon departure, please ensure no dirty dishes are left, and the kitchen is in normal cleaning condition. Failure to do so will result in a charge of €50, even for a dirty barbecue.
  • • For a late checkout not agreed upon in advance for significant reasons, there will be a charge of €50.
  • • On the day of arrival, clients will find the following in the kitchen:
  • o A welcome basket with some Italian products.
  • o Some breakfast products.
  • o Fresh fruits.
  • o Basic necessities such as salt, oil, pepper, onion, garlic, and sugar.
  • o The bar corner in the hall is free for use.
  • LINEN CHANGE on Saturdays.
  • TOWELS CHANGE for bath, swimming pool towels, and fitness bathrobe on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • For additional changes, please inquire and make the necessary payment.
  • DAILY CLEANING SERVICE for rooms and bathrooms available each day at 1 pm.
  • Extra cleaning service for the kitchen and dirty dishes can be requested and must be paid for BEFORE ARRIVAL.
  • CHECK-IN TIME starts at 3 pm - NOT EARLIER.
  • CHECK-OUT TIME is at 9 am when the owner will collect payment for any additional services used. DEPARTURE should be no later than 9.30 am.
  • Pool opening dates May 1 – September 15
  • Arrival between 16:30 and 19:00
  • Departure between 08:00 and 09:30
  • Pool open from 1 May to 15 September
