The Home
Villa Traversi is a historic 19th-century villa which has retained the best and most relevant features of its past. The owner, an Italian fashion designer, did a complete renovation, turning it into a modern home providing all the conveniences and comforts to fully enjoy a vacation with family and friends.
The villa is directly on the lakeshore with a private dock and lake access. The interior layout (400 sq meters) features three floors, and the garden level is accessed by a stairway; therefore, the property is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Como, just a few kilometers from Como and Cernobbio, Villa Traversi offers an idyllic retreat for up to 8 guests. Built entirely on the rocks in the early 1900s, this villa has retained its timeless beauty over the years.

Payment & Cancellation - 90 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
- For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.
