Welcome to Elderberry Overlook!
Elderberry Overlook is a beautiful home with layered mountain views and plenty of space for guests to spread out and enjoy a mountain getaway. It is conveniently located near the Overlook Barn Venue, just as you enter the Town of Beech Mountain, and has views of Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, and north into Tennessee. Banner Elk is just 8 minutes down the mountain, and the Beech Mountain Ski Resort is just 5 minutes from Elderberry Overlook.
The home itself is a relaxing and comfortable escape. The formal living room has a gas-log fireplace and wonderful views. This space flows into the dining room and a relaxed Keeping Room with a cozy couch and TV next to the kitchen. The spacious main-level deck includes a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating. A foosball table, large flat-screen TV, game table, and cozy couch fill out the lower-level family room.
There is accommodating space for up to 10 guests. On the main level is a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a queen bedroom with access to the jack-and-jill style shared bathroom. Downstairs is a queen bedroom and a twin bedroom with two twin beds, sharing a jack-and-jill bathroom. On the main floor, the living room sofa is a queen size pull-out bed.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, paid TV programming on all TVs, and Roku streaming in the family room. There is no air conditioning at Elderberry Overlook. At over 5,000 feet elevation, enjoy the cool mountain breezes. The driveway is gravel, with plenty of parking. Winter travelers should prepare for inclement weather with 4WD or AWD and snow chains.
