The Cozy Cub, located in Blowing Rock on Appalachian Ski Mountain, is just a short four-minute walk to the family-friendly ski lodge, ski slopes, and ice skating rink. A five-minute drive will bring you to the heart of downtown Blowing Rock where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, and activities. Tweetsie Railroad, High Gravity Adventures, downtown Boone, and the Appalachian State University campus are all within five miles of this convenient location.
The main floor living space includes a cozy living room with a gas log fireplace and TV, a sound bar, a dining area, and a kitchen. The loft has a shuffleboard game table, and the lower level family room has a foosball table and a second TV with a sound bar. The Deck has an outdoor table and chairs and a deck couch with a gas fire table feature and overlooks the custom-built flagstone patio in the lower yard. The patio has a built-in gas grill, a wood-burning fire pit, and an outdoor dining table. There is a hot tub on the lower-level patio.
The master bedroom on the main floor has a large flat-screen TV, deck access, and a private ensuite bathroom. Upstairs is a second king bedroom with a TV and a private ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom, located downstairs, has two full beds and an ensuite bathroom. The lower-level family room sofa converts to a queen sleeper allowing comfortable accommodations for up to ten guests.
Additional amenities include wifi, central heat and air, a washer and dryer, and popular streaming services on the common area TVs via a fire stick, or your personal accounts on the bedroom TVs. There is adequate parking for two cars. AWD or 4WD are highly recommended for winter driving. Dogs are allowed, one (1) per reservation, 50 pounds maximum, and standard pet fees apply. There is a fenced yard for your dog to stretch its legs as well.
