Welcome to Grandma’s Riverside Getaway!
Located on the banks of the New River, this charming log cabin has convenient access to Boone and the wonders of the High Country. This home is just minutes from downtown Boone, home to Appalachian State University, and local restaurants, shopping, and events. Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park, Green Valley Community Park and Playground, and the Blue Ridge Parkway are about 15 minutes away. Appalachian Ski Resort, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, and Mystery Hill and Tomahawk Hill Axe Throwing are less than 30 minutes away. These are just a few local attractions available to guests.
Overlooking the winding river, Grandma’s Riverside Getaway is a spacious cabin with custom wood features, including wood floors and vaulted ceilings. Cozy seating and an HDTV center around a stone fireplace in the living area. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and seating for six at the dining table. The main level is also home to the Master Bedroom, with a King bed and full ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower.
On the upper level are two additional Queen bedrooms, one of which has a full ensuite bathroom with a combo tub and shower. The loft has a full sleeper sofa and accommodates 2 other guests. The lower level basement holds a game room with a pool table and a wet bar with a mini fridge and microwave. There is another Queen sofa bed for 2 additional guests. There is also a full bathroom on this level with a walk-in shower. With a fire pit and seating by the river, a hot tub to enjoy the scenic views, direct river access, and a covered deck with a charcoal grill, the only thing missing is you!
Two dogs are welcome with your reservation at Grandma’s Riverside Getaway. There is a 40-pound limit, and additional pet fees apply. The cabin includes wifi, TV programming, central heat, and a washer and dryer. Winter travelers should prepare with 4-wheel drive or AWD vehicles.
