Rhodo Retreat is a delightful modern 2BR/2BA cabin located in Beech Mountain less than 10 minutes to the slopes of Ski Beech with winter activities including skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. The slopes convert to hiking trails, mountain biking trails, chairlift rides, and disk golf during the warmer months. Buckeye Recreation Center is just 5 minutes from the cabin. Tastefully furnished and decorated with accommodating space for up to 8 guests, this cabin boasts a stone gas fireplace, hot tub, and wood-burning Solo Stove style fire pit in the yard.
Step in the door to modern mountain luxury. The open concept main floor boasts a living room with a plush couch, accent seating, and a flat-screen tv mounted above the stone gas fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen has stainless appliances and granite countertops with an island including two bar stools. Relax or dine on the main floor deck which includes a gas grill, or take the steps leading to the lower hot tub deck.
The inviting master suite on the main floor has a king bed, tv, and a private ensuite bathroom. The loft upstairs from the living room has bean bag chairs, one of which converts into a mattress for a fun extra sleeping spot. The upstairs bedroom has a wooden bunk bed with a twin over a queen and a twin trundle. A private balcony outside the bedroom gives guests the chance to enjoy the mountain atmosphere and seasonal views. A full bathroom is located in the hallway upstairs with a tub/shower combo and vanity. The main floor couch is a queen-size pull-out sleeper sofa.
Amenities at the cabin include central heating and air conditioning, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, ski racks on the deck, and 4 Smart TVs with cable or streaming options. The circular gravel driveway has parking for several cars right in front of the main covered entrance. Two dogs under 40 pounds are welcome with a reservation, and additional pet fees apply.
