Welcome to Lake Haven Lodge!
Lake Haven Lodge is a stunning lakefront log cabin with a private boat dock on Kerr Scott Lake in Wilkesboro. There is an easy boat launch just a half mile from the entrance to the gated neighborhood, and then you can keep your boat at the dock during your stay. Lake Haven Lodge, just 25 minutes to Boone, makes this 6 sleeping area, 4 1/2 bath cabin accommodating up to 16 guests, a place that creates wonderful memories with friends and family.
Unique to this home is that there are 4 separate lounging areas, including:
- the living room with a large stone wood-burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a wall of windows overlooking the lake
- the keeping room, next to the kitchen, with a large stone wood burning fireplace and large TV
- the family room downstairs with a large stone wood-burning fireplace, next to the pool table
- the entertainment area downstairs with a large wall-mounted TV next to the ping pong table
The main floor offers vaulted ceilings, wood floors, a towering stone wood-burning fireplace, and views from the floor-to-ceiling wall of windows. The living room fireplace is open on both sides, where additional comfortable seating can accommodate your group next to the kitchen and near the TV. The well-appointed kitchen is next to the living room, with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. There is seating at the dining room table for twelve (12) with bar seating for four (4) more, and another table in the keeping room for four (4) more.
The spacious master suite is on the main floor with a king bed, TV, and sliding glass doors leading to the deck overlooking the lake. The master bedroom boasts a private ensuite bathroom with a jetted whirlpool tub, a separate walk-in steam shower, dual vanities, and a bidet. Upstairs are two more king bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom (one shared and one private). There is also a bedroom with two twin beds, a bunk bed with an attached bathroom. The lower level of the cabin has a king bedroom and a bedroom with two (2) queen beds and a bunk bed, which share a full bathroom.
The custom-made log pool table, surrounded by tongue-and-groove walls and ceiling, wood floors, and windows, is on the lower level. There is comfortable seating and a large wood-burning stone fireplace creating a fabulous place for relaxation and fun. There is a separate downstairs lounging area in front of the large wall-mounted TV for sports or movie viewing.
A short walk out the back leads to a private boat dock on Kerr Scott Lake, where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, and boating at your fingertips. Just to note, like most houses on a mountain lake, the house sits about 100 feet above the lake level, so there is a graded and graveled winding path down to the dock.
There is ample parking in the level paved driveway with a covered entrance into this immaculate lakeside cabin.
Please note there are two security cameras: One views the driveway, and the other views the property down to the lake.

- Boat launch to put your boat in the water during your stay is just 0.5 miles from the entrance to the neighborhood. Then keep your boat at the private dock during your stay.
- Lake Haven Lodge is just four (4) miles from the town of Wilkesboro, giving easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping.
- Foothills Outdoor Adventures, less than five (5) miles away, provides rentals for tubing, canoeing, paddle-boarding, and pontoon boats for all your water activities.
Situated at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this home has access to High Country attractions like:
