Tanawha Vista is a charming mountain cottage with a huge wrap-around covered porch on three sides of the house, scenic mountain views, and a warm, fresh, rustic/modern feel. It has four (4) separate sleeping areas accommodating nine (9) guests.
Hiking and walking trails, rivers and lakes, and much more are convenient to Tanawha Vista. Located in a pleasant mountainside community, downtown Blowing Rock and Appalachian Ski Mountain are only a mile away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is within walking distance. Tweetsie Railroad is about two (2) miles distant, and Boone and the Appalachian State University campus are less than a ten-minute drive. Grandfather Mountain, Hawksnest Snow Tubing & ZipLines at Seven Devils, the village of Valle Crucis, and Sugar Mountain Resort are all less than fifteen (15) miles away. Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
