It’s an easy walk to the slopes of Ski Beech for snow skiing and snowboarding. It’s an easy walk to the shops and restaurants in the village on Beech Mountain, or to play putt-putt golf, go sledding, take a spin on the ice skating rink, hit the snow tubing runs, and more!
Although atop Beech Mountain and extremely close to the Beech Mountain Ski Resort slopes, as well as the restaurants and shops in the village, Bear Necessities is less than 4 miles away from downtown Banner Elk, less than 10 miles away from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and golf course, and less than 12 miles from Grandfather Mountain. Things To Know
Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
