Welcome to Serenity Creek!
Serenity Creek is a charming and affordable creekside mountain cottage on a large wooded lot on Beech Mtn. The slopes of Ski Beech are less than two (2) miles away. Mountain biking, hiking, walking, fishing, sledding, and more are all around you on Beech Mountain, as is the village with fun shopping, restaurants, putt-putt, weekend concerts, and more. The charming mountain village of Banner Elk is about five (5) miles away and offers a downtown with lots of open-air markets and craft fairs, great shops and restaurants, fun parks, and much more. Boone and Blowing Rock are both about twenty-five (25) miles away. Seven Devils, about fifteen (15) miles away, boasts Otter Falls trails as well as Hawksnest Resort which has snowtubing and zip lines. The village of Valle Crucis features an incredible riverfront community park, as well as the renowned Original Mast General Store which dates back to the mid-1800s. Grandfather Mountain is less than fifteen (15) miles away. Sugar Mountain is about ten (10) miles away. The Elk, New, and Watauga Rivers are all nearby! Also, only a few miles away on the backside of Beech Mtn is the Buckeye Lake and Recreation Center which is open to the public. The lake is there for fishing, canoeing, paddle boating, and more. The recreation center has many fun activities and sporting courts and fields both inside and outside.
The cottage itself self is one level with a level entry, great for those with mobility issues. The parking area gives way to a level walkway onto the front deck and into the front door. The open living, dining, and kitchen area are easy to navigate. The master suite has a queen bed, a full ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower combo, and a door leading to a pleasant rear patio with outdoor seating. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and an HDTV. There is another full bathroom with a tub and shower combo centrally located near the living room and the second bedroom. The living room has a big HDTV, games for the family, and a queen sleeper sofa for extra accommodations.

The front and rear decks are open-air and offer seating, an outdoor dining area, and a grill. Steps lead down to a lower deck set right beside the creek and lead to the big yard, bordered by a swirling creek and boasting a nice wood-burning fire pit with ample seating. The rest of the yard is partially wooded yet fully usable and explorable. In addition to a lower laundry room with a washer and dryer, Serenity Creek offers WiFi Internet, digital TV programming, and a fun gas log buck stove in the living area. A short drive to the slopes of Beech Mountain Ski Resort for skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snowtubing, sledding, and more during winter. The quad lift also runs during the warmer months for mountain bikers who enjoy riding technical downhill mountain trails cut carefully through the woods. Fun and invigorating, as well as safe for those who are capable. Beech Mountain also offers technical mountain bike rentals and all of the safety equipment you will need.

Pets are permitted, dogs only, two (2) maximum with a 50-pound weight limit per dog. Standard pet fees apply.
