Welcome to Good River Acres!
Good River Acres is a cozy, 4 BR/3 BA log cabin just outside of Boone, off of the south fork of the New River. The community of River Ridge has private river access, where you can fish, float, and explore. This home is a short 15-minute drive to Boone, with access to fantastic restaurants, local shopping, conveniences like gas and groceries, and many different festivals and events. Within 30 minutes, experience attractions like Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, Sky Valley Zipline Tours, Boone Golf Course, Grandfather Winery and Vineyard, and the quaint town of West Jefferson.
Enjoy the peaceful, wooded setting of this cabin, with two levels of wrap-around covered porches. Rocking chairs, lounge seating, and benches are all available to relax and take in the views of the High Country. There is also a gas grill for a family cookout on the main level covered porch.
The interior of this charming cabin has warm wood accents and a cozy stone fireplace as the centerpiece. There is also lots of comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV to complete the living room. The open floor plan leads into the dining area, with seating for 6 at the main table, and 2 additional seats at the bar. The kitchen looks out into the living room and is stocked with all your cooking needs.
The master queen bedroom is located on the main level and has an attached full bathroom with a combo tub and shower. Upstairs, two queen bedrooms share a jack-and-jill bathroom with a combo tub and shower. There is also a lovely loft seating area with views looking out over the mountains.
On the lower level, a spacious entertainment room boasts a pool table, a large flat-screen TV, and lots of comfy seating for a family movie night. The couch also pulls out to a queen sleeper sofa. The final bedroom, with 2 twin beds and a shared full bathroom with a walk-in shower is on this level.
This home does not allow pets. There is parking for 4 vehicles. The entrance to the home is up a flight of stairs.
