Welcome to Riverside Retreat!
Riverside Retreat is a two (2) bedroom house with a loft area, so it sleeps like a three (3) bedroom. It has two (2) private bedrooms, one with a king bed and another with a queen bed. The upstairs loft, furnished with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa, serves double duty as a bedroom and a lounging area. There is also a queen-size sleeper sofa in the downstairs family room which can serve as a fourth sleeping area.
The main level has a big open kitchen and dining room, with vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings and exposed beams. The cozy living room has a gas Buck Stove and an HDTV. The master suite on the main level has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, the open loft/bedroom also has a two-seat arcade machine with 50 different arcade games and a comfortable queen sleeper sofa. There is a full bathroom upstairs. Downstairs features a game room/family room with an HDTV, an Xbox One, a pool table, and a queen sleeper sofa. There is a second bedroom suite downstairs with a king bed, an HDTV, and a full bathroom.

Riverside Retreat offers central heating and air conditioning, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and is pet-friendly. Dogs only, and standard pet fees apply.

Off the lower level is a covered courtyard with rocking chairs and a hot tub which faces the river below. The main level has a large open-air deck on the side of the house, with Adirondack-style chairs, a large outdoor dining table, and a gas grill. The front of the main level has a covered porch with comfortable outdoor furniture looking out at the river and the mountains on the other side.
A downhill walk from the cabin leads to a large, flat, grassy opening big enough for all kinds of fun outdoor activities! There is a fire pit and hundreds of feet of river frontage parallel to the property, all private and yours to enjoy! Above the cabin are more wooded acres with unmarked trails to explore. The property offers wooded and clear land for hikers to enjoy, as well as plenty of river frontage!
Riverside Retreat is only minutes from downtown Boone, less than fourteen (14) miles to Blowing Rock, and less than twenty-four (24) miles to Banner Elk. Valle Crucis is only twenty (20) miles away. Appalachian Ski Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad are both about ten (10) miles away. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Hawksnest Snowtubing & ZipLines are about twenty (20) miles away. Beech Mountain Ski Resort and Grandfather Mountain are approximately thirty (30) miles. You get both privacy and convenience at Riverside Retreat!
