Welcome to Grandfather Sights!
Grandfather Sights is a great vacation cabin with 3 levels of comfortable living space, an open floor plan, and a central location close to the major High Country attractions. Located just off Hwy 105 between Boone and Banner Elk, this home is close to hiking, zip-lining, fishing, rafting, snow tubing, skiing, and more. The home features delightful long-range views including straight-on views of the famous Grandfather Mountain.
The main living area has a stone fireplace with gas logs and a flat-screen TV and is open to the kitchen and dining areas. The home has wraparound decks, partly covered on the view side of the home, complete with rocking chairs and a propane grill. Upstairs, there is a spacious loft with comfortable seating. The lower level of the home has a game area with an air hockey table, a foosball table, and a flat-screen TV. This home has plenty of room for your group to enjoy being together in the mountains. Each bedroom, except for the bunk bedroom, now has a TV installed, a total of 5 in the home.
Please note: This house is a member of a POA that requires a signed addendum to the terms and conditions. The additional requirements are summarized below:
- There is a two-car minimum.
- No sublease.
- Your information will be provided to the POA for their use in case they need to contact you during your stay.
- After you book, a separate email will ask for this document to be signed.
