Elk Knob Cabin is a secluded retreat located in a wonderfully scenic setting. Despite its remote location, it is only 15 minutes away from Boone. Located at the end of a mile-long drive up through private, wooded acreage, the cabin rests at an elevation of 4,200 feet, making it a great fit for those who appreciate serene mountain surroundings, privacy, and time away from a fast-paced life.
The home is equipped with fundamental amenities like HDTVs and a hot tub but truly focuses on removing oneself from a technological setting and enjoying the view and serenity of the location.
Just a few minutes away is Elk Knob State Park, featuring one of the park system’s finest trails to the spectacular views from the 5,520 feet summit. Tweetsie Railroad, ski slopes, Grandfather Mountain, High Gravity Adventures, river rafting, and many other attractions are available to visit during your stay.

- This home is accessed by a long and steep gravel driveway. We strongly recommend 4WD and vehicles with high clearance in ALL SEASONS. In Winter, 4-wheel drive with tire chains is necessary for safe access.
