Introducing Gone Coastal! This is a very attractive 1 bedroom / 1 bath downstairs unit at the Purple Parrot Village Resort that comfortably sleeps 2 guests in a King sized bed. It is conveniently located in a secluded area of this popular beach resort, if you enjoy the feeling of having escaped to reset and recharge. Purple Parrot Resort is a fan favorite and many guests become fans after just one vacation. Purple Parrot has many premium amenities amenities and many guests prefer the laid-back, coastal village vibe to a high rise on the gulf. There is a heated indoor pool, 5000 SF oasis pool with a waterfall, exercise room, sauna, hot tubs, beach volleyball court and the beloved Purple Parrot Tiki Bar. Guests can be at a gorgeous, white sand - blue water beach with a forever view in just a few minutes. Public Beach Access 1 and 8 miles of pristine gulf beach at Gulf Island National Seashore are an easy 3 -4 minutes drive away. Historic Johnson Beach offers beaches on both gulf and the intracoastal waterway. There are public facilities, park rangers and seasonal lifeguards. The protected miles of undeveloped park lands in the national, state, and county parks make Perdido Key an eco-vacation treasure and Purple Parrot is conveniently located to everything. Downtown Pensacola and all of it’s attractions, restaurants and shopping are a short drive to the east. More fun things to do await in Orange Beach, which is just a short drive to the west. PKRM happily offers our guests complimentary local adventures like deep sea fishing, dolphin cruises, sunset cruises, golf at Lost Key Golf Course and Soldier Creek Golf Course, and even admission to OWA Amusement Park. 1 pass per reservation day is available via the Xplorie app. There’s lots to see and do in Perdido Key, but it is totally understandable if you find yourself wanting to stay at the resort. After all, the appeal of sitting on the front porches at The Purple Parrot is well known and appreciated by Purple Parrot fans.
Gone Coastal has a great front porch and has also been updated throughout for a highly satisfying guest experience. The tasteful living room includes all new furnishings and you will feel welcomed the moment you arrive. The bedroom offers a comfortable King sized bed for a great night’s sleep. The spacious bathroom offers a brand new tub/shower combo with safety bars. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and a washer and dryer are also included for your convenience. You will have everything you need to prepare delicious meals and snacks, but we hope you get to experience the locally caught, fresh gulf seafood while you are visiting. There are community grills if you are interested in having a bar b que or grilling some of that fresh seafood. This unit is available for 3 day getaways and also for extended off season rentals, if you happen to be in the area for military training or if you are escaping the snow. Important Note: This year the Purple Parrot Tiki Bar & Grill will close seasonally for the cooler months and will not reopen until February 1, 2026. The pools and other amenities will remain open and available for guest and owner use.
