The newly expanded deck with hot tub is the best spot to sit and enjoy a brilliant sunset or watch stars so close you may think you can touch them. Once you get a glimpse of Grandfather Mountain in the distance, you will not want to go home. Inside Hold Your Horses, wood floors welcome you into the open concept living area with Native American artwork and tapestries. A wood burning fireplace adds to the comforting atmosphere for cozy, relaxing evenings. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and a jetted tub in its bathroom. The other two bedrooms have queen size beds and each has their own bathroom. There is also a half bath for guests. A well-equipped granite countered kitchen leads to a cheery windowed dining area. This home is located in the 4000 acre, Leatherwood Mountain Resort in Ferguson, NC. Our guests are invited to enjoy our Horseback Riding program where you can experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains pristine wilderness by Horseback (reservation required). You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, community swimming pool, playground and tennis courts, creek tubing (seasonal), on-site restaurant with active live music & event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals).

Things To Know
Payment and Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House Rules
- No Smoking, all registered guests must be 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Check-in is after 4:00pm, check-out is before 11:00am. Please help us to protect our hikers, horseback riders and wildlife by always staying on your side of the road and not exceeding the speed limit of 15 MPH.
