Basildon 8 miles, Southend-on-Sea 10 miles, Grays 17 miles Just off the coast of Essex, nestled in the Thames Estuary is the low-lying island of Canvey Island, home to the beautiful Thorney Bay Beach which provides impressive views across to the Kent coast, the Canvey Island Heritage Centre and Museum and a fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. Transport enthusiasts can pay a visit to the Canvey Island Transport Museum which looks back at vehicles from times gone by and has its very own functioning model railway layout. Kids and big kids can enjoy a water-filled day at Stay and Splash at the Paddocks Community Centre, with its lido, climbing frame and on-site restaurant. Not to be missed is the Leisure Island Fun Park located near to the Canvey Seafront, which boats a variety of fairground rides, go karts and trampolines, promising a host of fun for all the family. Just a short walk from the Fun Park is the original Labworth Café, stemming from the 1930’s and an original reminder of the town’s development into a seaside resort.

Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.

- • Lost keys or forgotten keys incur a replacement fee; the minimum charge is £150
- • Any type of illegal activity is strictly prohibited
- • Unauthorized early check-in and late check-out charge is £250 plus the equivalent amount of the night(s) impacted
- • A refundable security deposit of £1000 will be pre-authorized and this will be refunded after check-out. This is via the verification platform SuperHog.
- • Unauthorized extra guests and visitors are not allowed, a penalty fee of a minimum £150 per extra guest will be charged.
- • Car details including license plates and total number of cars must be provided to use the carpark, unauthorized vehicles will be asked to leave immediately
- Please follow the house rules to avoid additional fees and the security deposit charge.
