Built on the fell-side over 3 levels, Spedding Fold offers superb views across Langdale towards Lingmoor Fell. The quiet location is within 15 minutes drive of Ambleside & Grasmere, with abundant walks from the door.
Spedding Folds owners have set up the house to serve all the needs of a large family group. With plenty of space to spread out between the lounge and conservatory with pool/snooker table, and two TVs are also installed. Free Wifi available so you can easily keep in touch, or work if you have to.
Catering for 10 can be quite a challenge but with the kitchen fitted with 2 ovens and 2 hobs, space for all the food won’t be a problem. The dining room with table seating 10 joins both the kitchen and the garden. The fell side garden and patio area are great for kids to run off steam or for eating outside on warm summer evenings.

Payment and Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
