What’s more, the Mornington Peninsula’s outstanding wineries, beaches, hot spring and seaside villages are within easy reach. As the property name suggests, life at Halarah is all about relaxation. And it begins with a slow drive along the picturesque private driveway to the main house which is nestled in the hillside, overlooking rows of grapes and the verdant landscape. An oversized front door invites you into the effortless elegance of the generous interior. The neutral scheme, wide floorboards, high raked ceiling, skylights, panelled walls and generous glazing create a sense of comfort while working in harmony with the stunning vista. And those views are carefully framed throughout this home. Families will be drawn to the spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining. The charm of Flinders village is a ten-minute drive and here you’ll find cafes, restaurants, antique stores as well as a picturesque beach. Wineries, a world-class golf club, high-end dining and the Peninsula Hot Springs are a short drive. There are endless options if you want to explore the outdoors, from fishing, sailing to bushwalking and the coastal beauty of Cape Schanck Lighthouse.
