Things To Know
Payment & Cancellation - 90 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
- For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

- Any guests above maximum occupancy must be approved by the Host and must pay the mandatory flat fee of $40/day (extra guest fee + mandatory bed rental) at the time of the booking. A mandatory bed rental is required for any extra guests and should be booked with SXM Les Halles prior to check-in. This additional cost is above the $20/day fee charged by the Host. Maximum 2 extra guests.
- SXM Music Festival: A mandatory security deposit of US$3000 will apply for all rentals that take place during the SXM Music Festival dates (March 11th to March 15th, 2020). Hosts reserve the right to charge a fee for extra cleaning or damage but also to keep the full security deposit if it is found out that extra guests stayed on the property and/or an event took place on the property without the prior approval of the Host.
