Tucked away on a private cul-de-sac you will find Bear Kub Kabin, a woodsy three-bedroom home for up to eight guests. Located in a prime Summit Estates location only a block away from Snow Summit, this luxury log cabin is for sure one of a kind! Relax in pine-fresh air on the deck, where a hot tub awaits next to a dining table for six. Fire up the gas grill and add something special to homemade meals. Whatever your travel style, this all season getaway will be sure to be a memorable one.
Kitchen: Step into the sun-drenched kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and an oversized microwave. Two can sit at the breakfast bar, with room for six more at the custom made natural wood dining table. A guest bath on this floor features a tub/shower combination.
Living Room: The living room is decked out in lodge-style decor with a futon sofa ( which can be made into a 2 person full-size bed), armchairs, a brick wood-burning fireplace, and all new wood floors. A 37in TV with Spectrum cable (including HBO Max, Showtime, NFL Network, Starz, and The Movie Channel) plus a DVD player that also includes Netflix access. High Speed Spectrum ULTRA WiFi internet available at 500 Mbps for those that want to work and play.
Bedroom 1 (first floor): Features a queen-size bed on a natural log frame, a window seat, a nightstand with lamp, a closet, and a 26in wall mounted TV with Spectrum cable.
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): The Master Bedroom has a log frame queen-size bed with matching 3-drawer dresser, two nightstands with lamps, a 26in wall mounted TV with Spectrum cable, large closet for storage, and a ceiling fan. A large guest bath on this floor has a tub/shower combination.
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): Contains two natural log furniture twin beds, a nightstand and lamp between the beds, 26in wall mounted TV with Spectrum cable, plenty of extra floor space, a large closet for storage, and a ceiling fan.
Game Room: A detached garage has been converted into a two-floor game center with Ping-Pong and darts on the main floor, plus a pool table, foosball, Xbox and 37in TV with Spectrum cable in the upstairs loft.
Outdoor: Relax under the patio lights in pine-fresh air or falling snow on the rear deck, where a five-person hot tub awaits next to an outdoor dining table for six. Fire up the gas grill and add something special to homemade meals. The spacious front deck offers a café table with seating for two.
Big Bear Lake East is centrally located in the Big Bear Valley and could be considered the main part of town. Located on the south shore of Big Bear Lake, BBL East is mostly residential and is also where you will find shopping, dining, Snow Summit, and other attractions and amenities. It is where the majority of schools, places of worship, and the Big Bear Community Hospital are located.
Big Bear lake East includes the MLS subareas “Gen” Big Bear Lake East, Bear Loop, Eagles Knoll, Eagle Point, Eagle Point Estates, Heavenly Valley, North Shore, Summit Estates, and Winterpark.
Free Big Bear Trolley:
Mountain Transit’s Free Big Bear Trolley service offers convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors to help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley.
Traffic and illegal parking are a significant issue for Big Bear during the busy winter and summer seasons. We encourage everyone to leave their vehicles at their homes or rentals and hop on the Free Big Bear Trolley to navigate the town.
Three new routes have been specially designed to make accessing restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, ski resorts, snow play areas, parks and work easy and efficient.

Parking: Parking is provided for three (3) total vehicles. You can park in the driveway or the garage. No street parking is ever allowed (city enforced). Use garage door button next to side entrance door in garage to access the garage.
We have high chairs and pack n plays available at our office for rent for a fee of $25 per day for each or as a packaged deal, please notify us in advance if you would like to rent these during your stay.
To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.
If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.
Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our ’things to know’ and ’house rules’ sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.
