Sea Garden is a stylish and luxurious home with breathtaking views of Bombo Beach and ’the Toothbrush’, as well as private beach access! This beautifully equipped and furnished home sleeps 8 across 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It is definitely one of the best homes available for rent in Kiama and you will be mesmerised by the setting, gardens, tranquility and comfort of this incredible property!
Please note -
- Sea Garden is not suitable for children under the age of 5. The property has some areas of the garden that are risky for younger children, and the internal design and nature of the house is also not suitable for children under 5. Sorry!
- Strictly no bucks, hens or other wild parties at this house. A caretaker lives next door and you will lose your bond in full if this rule is broken
- There are disconnected alarm sensors within the property. They are not cameras and do not record images or sound

Where will I be?
Sea Garden is located at the southern end of Bombo Beach, with beautiful northerly views and a perfect north facing sun aspect. The property is accessed via a private laneway that services two houses and has its own stairs that lead to the beach. Kiama town centre with its shops and cafes is also within walking distance of the property.
Why choose Sea Garden?
To experience Sea Garden is like being on a private island overlooking the stunning Bombo Beach. The unimpeded beach and ocean views from every window in the house will mesmerise you. With a direct northerly aspect, Sea Garden is a year-round beach retreat that soaks up the sun in winter and provides cool refreshing sea breezes in Summer.
The whales migrate heading north in May and turn back in July for a slow and playful display, lasting till late Nov. This is in addition to regular pods of dolphins in the bay and exquisite bird life in the native Grevilleas trees of the garden.
There is a private path with direct beach access to Bombo beach, one of 6 fantastic beach options within a 3 km radius of the house.
Sea Garden is also within walking distance of the cafes, restaurants and homewares shops of the vibrant seaside town of Kiama. Scenic 15 minute drives will also take you to Gerringong, Jamberoo or the majestic Minnamurra rainforest.
How is the property laid out?
Sea Garden is a very spacious and well designed home, displaying all the benefits of an architect designed and master built home. It set over three levels. The lower level is the living space with a fantastic open plan lounge dining and kitchen area that has wall to ceiling windows, a full width deck and a fireplace. The middle level has three bedrooms, a full width wrap around balcony, and a double lock up garage for guest use. The top level is a huge, very private bedroom suite with its own study space. There is a beautiful copper outdoor shower rose (heated).
The layout of the house is such that there are two master king bedrooms, each with ensuite - one on the top level and one in the middle level.
The kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso compatible pod coffee machine.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. There is a smart tv in the living room so you can stream your favourite shows.
Please note however that neither Property Manager nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Sea Garden has lovely lawn and native garden areas, as seen in the photos. There is a large tiled deck with gas BBQ adjoining the living area, a wrap around balcony on the middle level of the home, and a fire pit. You will feel at one with nature, and have plenty of options to enjoy indoor / outdoor entertainment!
Sea Garden also has a beautiful, copper, outdoor shower with hot and cold water - for when you come up from the beach.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Sea Garden has a large gas fireplace in the living area and every bedroom has a reverse cycle air conditioner for heating or cooling. The house can also be opened up fully in summer to catch the sea breeze.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Sea Garden. Please bring your own beach towels however.
Parking for cars, boats etc.?
There is parking for 2 vehicles in the double lock up garage. Please do not block the driveway as it is shared with a neighbouring property. All other vehicles will need to be parked in local side streets that have free parking.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, Sea Garden is not a pet friendly property. A caretaker lives next door and will monitor if any pets are brought to the property. Hopefully you can find a pet minder so that you can come to enjoy this beautiful home!
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
