Mirrabooka is a classic Southern Highlands experience - a beautifully decorated home, fireplace, chef’s kitchen, verandahs, and 3 acres of lawns and mature cool climate gardens. This sumptuous home sleeps 8 across 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed room. It is pet friendly and only a short drive from Burrawang Village and its famous pub, butcher shop and cafes. Please note however that the 4th sleeping area / room is a very good sofa bed in a section of the large living area that can be fully partitioned.

Where will I be?
Mirrabooka is located on the edge of Burrawang Village, famous for its pub, butcher shop and many historic buildings in the main street. The beautiful town of Robertson is also only a 5 minute drive away. Burrawang is arguably one of the prettiest villages in the Southern Highlands, and is close enough to also be a base for an event in Bowral, Mittagong or Moss Vale.

Mirrabooka forces you to relax and enjoy the luxury, comfort and tranquility of this beautiful house and property. There is plenty of space for everyone inside, or enjoy its classic cool climate garden with ponds, lawns, hedges and many mature Oak, Black Walnut and Cork trees.
How is the property laid out?
Mirrabooka is set on one level, notable for a large, stylish open plan living space that encompasses the dining area, chef’s kitchen and two lounge spaces. The casual living area has floor to ceiling windows and glass doors and opens out to a beautiful alfresco BBQ area.
The master king bedroom occupies one wing of the house, complete with en-suite, bay window, freestanding claw foot bath tub and a frameless shower. The second bedroom is a well appointed queen room, and the third bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms share a main bathroom and a good sized laundry with Miele washing machine and dryer.
The 4th bedroom / 4th sleeping area is a very good sofa bed in a section of the large living area that can be fully partitioned - with the ability to slide shutters across to give privacy at night.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix and Pay TV - will I have it?
Mirrabooka has WiFi and you may use it with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B with Telstra generally the best network in regional areas.
What about outdoors?
Mirrabooka has plenty of outdoor options - the BBQ area, a fish pond, a dam on the property, and 3 acres of beautiful gardens - all self evident from the photos.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Mirrabooka has ducted gas central heating and a wood fireplace in the formal living area. All 3 bedrooms have a split system air conditioner for heating and cooling.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and bath towels are provided at Mirrabooka.
Parking for cars?
There is parking for 3 cars on the driveway and also a carport for 1 car.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Pets are welcome at Mirrabooka and the entire property is fully fenced. Please bring a bed for your dog, and do not allow them on the beds or furniture. Please also clean up after your pet.
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, spiders and snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe and do work with a network of wildlife removal experts, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. If you do, we will use our best endeavours to have the animal removed or to make the property safe, however no compensation whatsoever will be paid for any disturbance caused by wildlife. You must book the property knowing that this risk exists, even though very uncommon.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
